Poker Collections was a prank call made in the spring of 2006 by Carlito. It was performed during the first of the Madhouse 4:20 live afternoon shows. The number belonged to Crystal and Charles from Canada and was submitted by a friend of theirs who was listening to the show live.
Premise
The submitter advised that the couple to be pranked had recently been spending a lot of time playing online poker. Carlito speaks to Charles as Jack Valente from the collections department of the website reporting that several bets had been lost that afternoon totaling over $200.
Charles begins to explain that neither of them are playing at the time. Carlito then interrupts the befuddled gentleman advising that another bet had just been lost and further explained that this was a courtesy call to request payment or the account would be suspended.
At that point Crystal enters the conversation saying that they aren't online at all. Carlito immediately makes statements to the contrary and accuses the couple of lying. A heated argument between the two ensues.
The person who requested the prank later reported that he played the call for Crystal and Charles the following week and that they were both embarrassed and amused by the joke pulled on them.
