N Cab, also referred to as N* Cab or Nigga Cab was a prank call performed by Carlito in 2003. It is categorized as a Pre-Madhouse prank as it was recorded before the Madhouse show debuted in 2005. It was the headlining prank call originally submitted to PCU Radio for inclusion into their rotation and led to an audition for Carlito on the station. It was originally aired on KDK's Lunatic Fringe in July of 2005. Carlito provides 3 voices in this call: the bar janitor, the drunk patron and the bar manager.
Premise
Carlito, looking in the local phone book for taxi companies to prank call, stumbled upon a number in a rural town outside of Orlando for Frazier Cabs. It is assumed the number was either mis-dialed or not current as the person who answered on the line was most definetly not with the taxi company.
Leroy, the black janitor at the bar, reports that he has a patron who has "diarrhead" on himself and needs to be picked up and taken home. The victim, confused, begins to question who is calling him and from where. At that point the drunk patron picks up the line slurring and stuttering saying he needs a ride home. The prank vicitim becomes irate calling the drunkard a n****r. The patron then tells Leroy he has been called the N word and another argument ensues between the black janitor and the prank victim who continues to make racist comments.
In the end the bar manager reports he is placing a trace on the caller who is obviously the same person who has been calling making racist statements. The victim becomes nervous and disconnects the call.
